When asked about the reports of Aishwarya wearing an outfit worth Rs 75 lakhs, Lulla dismissed the claims as mere “afwaah” (rumours). She questioned the exorbitant price tag and invited people to do the math, stating that a Kanjivaram saree would not cost such an astronomical amount.
Breaking Down the Outfit
Neeta Lulla shed light on the components of Aishwarya’s wedding ensemble, which included a traditional yellow and golden Kanjeevaram saree adorned with Swarovski crystals and intricate threadwork. She also mentioned a well-cut, well-fitted embroidered zardozi blouse and gold jewellery as part of the outfit.
When asked to reveal the actual cost of the wedding outfit, Neeta Lulla politely declined to provide any specific figure, stating that she couldn’t recall the exact amount.
