PhysicsWallah (PW), India’s edtech company, has entered into a partnership with Microsoft to launch new certification programs focused on Generative AI, Data Analytics, and Digital Marketing. The initiative aims to provide learners with practical, job-oriented skills aligned with current industry demands.

The programs will be delivered through PW Skills, the company’s skilling division, and will integrate Microsoft’s suite of tools such as Copilot, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, GitHub, and Office 365. This is intended to give students hands-on experience with technologies used in real workplace environments.
These courses will be accessible not only to PW students but also to early-career professionals and job seekers across a wider audience. As part of the learning strategy, introductory modules will be made freely available on YouTube to help build foundational knowledge before learners move on to advanced training.
PW noted that its earlier course on Copilot for Functional Teams, covering areas like sales, marketing, and operations, has already gained significant traction online with over 200,000 views.
According to PW COO Gopal Sharma, the collaboration with Microsoft aims to break barriers in education by making high-quality, industry-ready learning accessible across regions, especially in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, and preparing learners for the workforce from day one.
Microsoft representatives also highlighted the importance of scalable, employment-focused skill development, stating that such initiatives help bridge the gap between learning and job readiness by offering exposure to real-world AI tools and applications.
The Data Analytics program will include training in SQL, Python, and data visualization, along with tools like Power BI and Copilot, while also introducing learners to cloud-based collaboration environments using GitHub.
The Digital Marketing program will provide over 125 hours of training covering SEO, performance marketing, and campaign optimization, with an emphasis on using generative AI tools to improve productivity and efficiency.
On completion of the programs, learners will receive joint certification from PhysicsWallah and Microsoft, reflecting a growing shift toward AI-driven, industry-aligned skilling programs designed to improve employability.
