The Adani Group and US-based electronics manufacturing giant Jabil have announced plans to establish a large-scale AI and data-centre infrastructure manufacturing platform in India. The proposed alliance aims to build a vertically integrated ecosystem catering to both domestic and global demand for AI-ready infrastructure.

The venture will focus on manufacturing high-density AI racks, servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and critical power and cooling infrastructure required for next-generation AI data centres. The companies are targeting multi-gigawatt-scale production capacity to serve hyperscalers, cloud providers, colocation operators, and enterprise customers worldwide.

By combining Jabil’s global manufacturing expertise with Adani’s infrastructure, logistics, energy, and data-centre capabilities, the partnership seeks to strengthen India’s position in the rapidly expanding AI hardware supply chain.

The initiative aligns with Adani Group’s broader ambition to invest $100 billion in renewable-powered, AI-ready data centres by 2035, as India accelerates efforts to become a major player in the global AI economy.

Industry observers see the move as a significant step toward reducing dependence on imported AI infrastructure while boosting advanced manufacturing, exports, and high-skilled employment opportunities in India.
