These remarks come as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organises various programs across the nation to celebrate the ninth anniversary of the Modi Government.

PM Gati Shakti: A Game Changer
The Gati Shakti Master Plan, launched by PM Modi on October 13, 2021, aims to facilitate coordination among different ministries, states, and departments. This initiative streamlines planning processes and reduces implementation costs. Experts believe it will also encourage Chinese firms to relocate to India.
Port Infrastructure
Recognizing the importance of Port Infrastructure for economic growth, the Modi Government has undertaken ambitious initiatives to develop and modernise ports across the country. These efforts have resulted in remarkable progress and significant advancements in India’s Port Infrastructure.

To address delays and lack of centralised information in Infrastructure projects, the Indian Government has introduced a new digital tool informally referred to as ‘India’s Google Map Infrastructure Development.’ This tool, part of the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan For Connectivity, guides centralised Infrastructure projects.
Improved Connectivity
In recent years, the Government has made 15 Vande Bharat trains operational, with plans to manufacture 400 more Vande Bharat express trains within the next three years. Additionally, the Modi Government has focused on developing metro infrastructure in various cities, expanding metro rail projects to 20 cities over the past nine years.
Infrastructure as the Nation’s Growth Engine: Budget 2023
In the budget for 2023, the Government made a significant move by increasing the capital investment outlay to Rs 7.5 lakh crores. The budget also allocated nine times more capital expenditures to Indian Railways compared to the fiscal year 2013–14, highlighting the Government’s commitment to Infrastructure development.
