PwC US and PwC India have announced a joint venture that will bring together PwC India’s Consulting business and PwC US Advisory’s India-based capabilities under a single integrated platform. The venture will serve clients in India, the US and other global markets.

The new platform will combine capabilities across strategy, transformation, technology, engineering, AI and managed services. PwC said the move will help clients access expertise and delivery capabilities more seamlessly across markets.
The joint venture comes as artificial intelligence is rapidly changing the consulting and professional services industry, pushing firms to rethink service delivery, efficiency and talent models. The new structure is also expected to strengthen PwC’s ability to serve US-headquartered companies with Global Capability Centres in India.
Sanjeev Krishan, Chairperson of PwC India, will become CEO of the new joint venture. The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2027, subject to regulatory approvals and other closing conditions. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The move marks a broader shift towards a more globally integrated consulting model as PwC seeks to compete more effectively with other major consulting and professional services firms.
