Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron have agreed to strengthen the India-France strategic partnership through the adoption of the Innovation Roadmap 2030 and the launch of a new Economic Security Dialogue.
The Innovation Roadmap 2030 aims to deepen collaboration in artificial intelligence, advanced technologies, scientific research, startups, digital innovation, higher education, and industrial development. The initiative is expected to create new opportunities for joint research, technology transfer, and innovation-led economic growth.

In addition, both countries have established an Economic Security Dialogue to enhance cooperation in critical sectors such as semiconductors, resilient supply chains, cybersecurity, digital infrastructure, clean energy, and strategic technologies.
The discussions also focused on expanding bilateral trade and investment, strengthening defence cooperation, and promoting collaboration between businesses, research institutions, and startup ecosystems in both countries.
India and France have emerged as key strategic partners in recent years, working closely on defence, space, nuclear energy, climate action, and technology. The latest initiatives reflect a shared vision to build stronger economic resilience and drive innovation-led growth in an increasingly competitive global environment.
The agreements mark another significant step in elevating the India-France partnership, with both nations aiming to play a larger role in shaping the future of technology, economic security, and global innovation.
