Maya Tata, daughter of Noel Tata, may exit Tata Digital as the company undergoes a major restructuring exercise. Reports suggest Maya Tata is evaluating opportunities across multiple Tata Group businesses, with retail giant Trent emerging as a preferred option.

The possible move comes at a time when Tata Digital is facing increased scrutiny over losses and business performance despite receiving investments of over ₹24,000 crore from Tata Sons. The company houses major digital businesses including BigBasket, Tata Neu, Croma, and Tata 1mg.
Unlike her siblings Leah and Neville Tata, Maya has worked across multiple Tata Group businesses. She started her career at Tata Capital before moving to Tata Digital. Industry observers see the development as part of broader leadership and restructuring discussions taking place within the Tata Group ecosystem.
