Adani Airport Holdings Limited and IHG Hotels & Resorts have signed a landmark five-hotel portfolio agreement that will add nearly 1,500 rooms across major airport-linked destinations in India.
The partnership includes the India debut of Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, IHG’s luxury boutique hospitality brand known globally for design-focused hotels and premium dining experiences.
According to the announcement, the hotels will be developed across Jaipur, Navi Mumbai, Mangaluru, and Thiruvananthapuram as part of Adani Airport Holdings’ broader airport city development strategy. The portfolio will also include Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express properties integrated into mixed-use airport-linked urban developments.
Pranav Adani said the partnership aligns with the group’s vision to create world-class airport-led urban destinations that combine aviation, hospitality, retail, and commercial infrastructure.
Industry experts say airport cities are increasingly emerging as high-growth hospitality and commercial hubs due to rising passenger traffic, domestic tourism, and business travel demand across India.
IHG currently operates 52 hotels across India and has a pipeline of 98 additional properties expected to open over the next few years, reflecting strong confidence in India’s hospitality and tourism growth story.
