IIT Bombay-incubated spacetech startup InspeCity has raised ₹100 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by Speciale Invest and investor Ashish Kacholia. Antler Elevate, Antler India, Shastra VC and other investors also participated.
The company plans to use the fresh capital to undertake four missions over the next 12–18 months. These missions will focus on demonstrating technologies for in-orbit inspection, rendezvous, docking and satellite life extension.
InspeCity is developing in-space servicing technologies designed to extend satellite lifespans and reduce the need for costly replacements. The funding marks another major step in India’s rapidly expanding private spacetech ecosystem.
