Airbus Partners with Mahindra University to Boost Aerospace Talent

Mahindra University has partnered with Airbus to promote innovation, research, and education in aerospace and digital technologies, aiming to develop a future-ready workforce in India.

The collaboration will focus on curriculum development, industry training, faculty and student exchanges, and advanced research in areas like AI, machine learning, analytics, and cybersecurity.

Anand Mahindra, Chancellor of Mahindra University, expressed gratitude to Airbus for the partnership, which aims to shape the future of both sectors.

The MoU will enhance internship and placement opportunities for students, host joint events such as symposiums and workshops, and foster connections with global aerospace institutes.

Remi Maillard, President of Airbus India and South Asia, emphasized the importance of human capital in developing India’s aerospace industry. The collaboration aims to cultivate a talent pool essential for the sector’s growth.

Dr. Yajulu Medury, Vice Chancellor of Mahindra University, highlighted that the partnership aligns academic offerings with industry needs, providing students with exposure to cutting-edge advancements.

The collaboration will also allow students to engage in real-world projects, fostering a strong connection between academia and the aerospace industry. Mahindra University is supported by Mahindra Educational Institutions (MEI), a subsidiary of Tech Mahindra.
