Wednesday saw the release of the 12th Anniversary Edition of the 2023 M3M Hurun Global Rich List from Hurun, the leading distributor of wealthy lists in the world. Mukesh Ambani, the CEO of Reliance Industries, has surpassed Gautam Adani to become the richest Indian according to the 2023 M3M Hurun World Rich List. While both Ambani and Adani had an annual decline in wealth, Adani lost 35% of it as a result of the Hindenburg scandal while Ambani lost 20%, according to the Hurun Rich List for 2022 and 2023. Adani’s wealth fell from $119 billion on January 24 to $57.2 billion today, for a brief while ranking him as the second-richest person in the world according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
The list features the five industries where Indian Millionaires are the wealthiest in the world: Healthcare, Paints, Aviation, Communications, and Biscuit making.The list was made public in collaboration with M3M India.
