Malayali’s own Entri App, Learning App for Jobs
Entri is a learning application that helps candidates to get government jobs and private jobs. Entri, a start-up, is developed in the local language which makes it unique. Entri provides different types of study content like PDFs, study cards and videos. All these contents are prepared in regional languages like Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi. The Entri App will provide training and content for central-state exams, spoken English, coding, sales, entrepreneurship, etc. The app is available for download on Android phones. Apart from that, it also has a web version.
The Founding Team
The founders of Entri are Mohammad Nizamuddin and Rahul Ramesh. Rahul, company's CTO leads the engineering and product team. There are around 525 people in the team.
Clients
Entri's main clients are job seekers. Also, colleges can provide vocational-skill training in local language for their students in collaboration with Entri if required. Entri also provides necessary service for PSC coaching centers.
Acknowledgments and future plans
Entri currently has 95 lakh users. The company is trying to reach one crore users. The goal is to reach 40 million users by 2025. Entri's operations are currently focused on five languages. There are also plans to expand it to more languages.
Funding
So far, Entri has received around Rs 80 crore ($11 million)funding. It has raised investment from Omidyar Network, one of India's largest edtech network investors, as well as US-based investors.
