Hero MotoCorp, one of India’s leading motorcycle manufacturers, has officially introduced its latest offering, the Maverick 440, to the Indian market. Following its unveiling last month, the motorcycle is now available for purchase, with prices starting at Rs 1.99 lakh for the base model and reaching up to Rs 2.24 lakh for the top-tier variant, excluding showroom costs.

Variants and Booking Options

The Maverick 440 is offered in three distinct variants: Base, Mild, and Top. Prospective buyers can secure their purchase by pre-booking the motorcycle through authorized dealerships or online via Hero’s official website. Deliveries are slated to commence from April onwards. To incentivize early bookings, Hero has introduced the “Welcome to Maverick Club” offer. Customers who pre-book the motorcycle before March 15 will receive a complimentary Maverick kit valued at Rs 10,000.

Design Overview and Features

Drawing inspiration from iconic models like the Harley-Davidson X440, the Maverick 440 boasts a striking design characterised by its aggressive road presence. Key design elements include a muscular fuel tank, a round-shaped LED headlight setup, and LED daytime running lights (DRLs) complemented by sleek turn indicators. The base variant is equipped with spoked wheels, while the higher-end models feature stylish alloy wheels.

Designed for rider and passenger comfort during long-distance journeys, the Maverick 440 offers a single-seating arrangement. The motorcycle is Bluetooth-enabled and features a fully digital instrument cluster, providing essential information such as RPM, fuel capacity, speed, gear positioning, and more. Additionally, it includes a USB-C port for convenient device charging on the go.

Performance and Powertrain

At the heart of the Maverick 440 lies a robust 440cc single-cylinder engine, delivering a maximum power output of 27 bhp and 36 Nm of torque. Paired with a 6-speed transmission, this powertrain setup mirrors the performance specifications found in the acclaimed Harley-Davidson X440 model.

With its blend of performance, style, and advanced features, the Hero Maverick 440 aims to carve a niche in the competitive motorcycle market, catering to the needs of discerning riders across India.
