Singapore’s long-distance delivery platform Deliver.sg, the pioneering entity in the delivery industry and a subsidiary of Maxima Logistics Pte Ltd, is excited to announce the acquisition of Indian Mobility Lifestyle Platform BusyBee, solidifying its expansion in the Asian and Middle Eastern markets.
The deal, valued at SGD 500,000, is a testament to Deliver.sg’s commitment to enhancing its comprehensive mobility services. BusyBee, known for its transformation from a courier service to a robust mobility lifestyle app, will complement Deliver.sg’s DAAS model. With a strong network of over 1800 delivery riders across 317 locations in South India, BusyBee is poised for significant growth under Deliver.sg’s umbrella.
The partnership is anticipated to leverage Deliver.sg’s advanced technology and expertise, enhancing BusyBee’s operational efficiency and profitability. With the support of Maxima Logistics, BusyBee plans to expand its reach to 1000 locations by 2025, a bold stride towards a connected and convenient future.
Deliver.sg’s strategy to broaden its scope is further evidenced by significant investments in two promising Tamil Nadu startups.
Deliver.sg, in a strategic move to empower local communities and culinary experiences, is investing SGD 250,000 in “HighRices”, a Tamil Nadu Startup & innovative platform through a share swap and equity funding model. This unique community-based model not only connects residents with home-cooked meals but also fosters women’s entrepreneurship and fosters genuine community engagement. The investment fuels the co-development of an Augmented Reality (AR) powered app and other cutting-edge technologies, ultimately aiming to revolutionize smart restaurants globally.
Similarly, Deliver.sg has committed SGD 250,000 to HomeRadius, an app designed to make hiring home service professionals a seamless experience. With Deliver.sg’s support, HomeRadius is poised to revolutionize home management in Singapore and beyond, offering a convenient platform for users to connect with service providers.
Mr. Krishnamani Kannan, Co-founder & CEO of Deliver.sg, also the Vice Chairman of SSACCI – Singapore South Asia Chamber Of Commerce and Industry, commented on the initiative, “As we integrate BusyBee’s extensive network with the growth of HighRices and HomeRadius, our goal transcends expanding our geographical footprint. We’re fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and community building. As a leader in both business and community platforms like SSACCI, I am deeply committed to elevating and nurturing Indian startups on a global scale. This initiative marks the inception of a long and promising journey towards a future that’s more collaborative, connected, convenient, and community-focused.”
