Home appliances brand Novamax Technologies plans to invest ₹200 crore in a new manufacturing facility in the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) as it expands beyond air coolers into new product categories.
The facility is expected to become operational within the next two years and will create around 800 direct and indirect employment opportunities. This includes 350 direct jobs and 450 indirect positions.
The new plant will support Novamax’s entry into categories such as air conditioners and washing machines while increasing its overall manufacturing capacity across multiple home appliance segments.
The company said the DMIC location will provide access to industrial infrastructure and connectivity, supporting its manufacturing, logistics and supply-chain operations. The facility will complement Novamax’s existing manufacturing infrastructure, including its plant in Gorakhpur.
Harshit Aggarwal, CEO and Founder of Novamax Technologies, said the investment will help the company build stronger manufacturing capabilities and expand its product portfolio as it enters new categories.
Founded in 2019, Novamax has primarily focused on air coolers and currently has a workforce of around 250 employees. The DMIC facility is expected to play a key role in the company’s broader expansion across the consumer durables market.
