BikeWo BikeWo Green Tech has partnered with Yubhas Renewables Private Limited to pilot solar-assisted electric three-wheelers aimed at improving clean mobility solutions in rural and semi-urban India.

Under the partnership, BikeWo will deploy the vehicles through its rider network to test their performance under real-world commercial conditions before a wider market launch. The pilot will focus on evaluating key factors such as driving range, battery efficiency, payload capacity, ride comfort, thermal performance, braking, operating costs and overall reliability.
The insights collected from BikeWo’s last-mile mobility operations will help Yubhas Renewables further improve the vehicle’s design and performance ahead of commercial deployment.
The solar-assisted electric three-wheelers are expected to support multiple applications, including passenger transportation, agricultural logistics, village deliveries and healthcare access. The initiative also aims to create new income opportunities for rural communities by enabling entrepreneurship through clean mobility solutions.
Eligible users may also explore financing support through schemes such as the Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana, subject to lender approvals and eligibility requirements.
BikeWo Green Tech CEO Hiten Pal Saklani said the partnership will help evaluate innovative mobility solutions while exploring opportunities for sustainable transportation and rural livelihood generation.
Yubhas Renewables Founder and CEO Sai Satyam Pradhan said the collaboration will provide valuable operational data to refine the company’s solar-assisted mobility platform and improve its reliability, affordability and commercial potential.
The partnership marks a step towards building a cleaner and more accessible mobility ecosystem for rural India.
