Adani Group has announced an ambitious entry into nuclear energy, targeting 10 gigawatts of nuclear power capacity by 2035 through its new venture Adani Atomic Energy.

Chairman Gautam Adani said land has already been identified for the project, which will play a key role in strengthening India’s long-term energy security and supporting rising electricity demand.
The group said the move is part of its broader integrated energy strategy spanning thermal, renewable, hydro, gas and transmission assets.
Adani described nuclear energy as essential for providing reliable, round-the-clock clean power amid growing geopolitical and energy security challenges.
The conglomerate is also accelerating investments across the energy value chain, including power generation, transmission infrastructure and low-carbon projects.
With this expansion, Adani Group aims to position itself as a major player in India’s evolving clean energy and infrastructure ecosystem, supporting the country’s push for energy independence and sustainability.
