The Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi has announced a temporary pause in regular passport, visa, and consular services from June 26 to June 30, 2026, due to a change in its outsourced service provider in the UAE.

As part of the transition, Al Hind Tours and Travel LLC will take over the management of passport, visa, and attestation services from July 1, 2026. Until June 25, existing service providers BLS International and SGIVS Global will continue to accept applications, after which no new submissions will be processed through them.
During the five-day transition period, no regular appointments for passport, visa, or consular services will be available. Applicants have been advised to plan their submissions in advance to avoid inconvenience.
Emergency consular assistance during this period will be directly handled by the Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General of India in Dubai. Applicants requiring urgent support can reach authorities via a toll-free number, WhatsApp, or email provided by the Embassy.
The Embassy stated that applications submitted before the transition will continue to be processed through existing centres without disruption. From July 1 onward, all new applications will be routed through centres operated by the newly appointed service provider.
Officials said the transition follows a formal tender and evaluation process and is being managed to ensure a smooth handover while maintaining essential services for the Indian community across the UAE.
