Amazon is significantly expanding its quick commerce ambitions in India by scaling its Amazon Now service to 100 cities, marking one of its most aggressive bets in the segment.
Currently available in select cities like Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, the service will be rolled out across metros as well as Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities including Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, and Kochi.

The expansion will be supported by a network of over 1,000 micro-fulfilment centres, enabling ultra-fast deliveries of groceries, personal care items, and daily essentials—often within minutes.
This move is backed by a ₹2,800 crore investment, aimed at strengthening logistics, warehousing, and last-mile delivery capabilities across India.
Amazon’s push comes amid intense competition in the quick commerce space, where players like Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, and Zepto already dominate the market.
With this expansion, Amazon is aiming to deepen customer engagement, expand beyond metros, and capture a larger share of India’s rapidly growing instant delivery market.
