Ahead of his 31st birthday on April 10, Anant Ambani, executive director at Reliance Industries Limited, donated ₹10 crore to support a gaushala (cow shelter) at the Kashtabhanjan Dev Hanumanji Temple in Salangpur, Gujarat. The contribution is aimed at improving the care and welfare of cows.

The gaushala is being developed within the Salangpur Dham complex, spread across 28 acres. The project is being built in collaboration with DeLaval, a global dairy and farming equipment company, and will include modern facilities capable of housing around 500 cows. The Ambani family is acting as the main patron for this initiative.
To mark the occasion, temple priest Viveksagardas Swami offered blessings, and a special Maruti Yagna was conducted.
Just days earlier, Ambani had pledged ₹18 crore toward temple infrastructure and animal welfare projects in Kerala. This includes ₹6 crore in donations to the Rajrajeshwaram Temple and Guruvayur Temple, along with ₹12 crore earmarked for restoring the historic East Gopuram of Rajrajeshwaram Temple and supporting elephant care initiatives at Guruvayur.
During his visit to Rajrajeshwaram Temple on April 2, Ambani made traditional offerings such as Ponnumkudam, Pattam, Thaali, and Neyyamrutu, and performed Ashwamedha Namaskaram. He was welcomed with customary honours by temple authorities and accompanied by close associates.
At Guruvayur Temple, he offered prayers to Lord Guruvayurappan and donated ₹3 crore to the temple trust.
