India’s Mont Vert Group has partnered with Kazakhstan’s Big B Corporation in a $500 million (approx. ₹4,300 crore) agreement to develop major healthcare and education infrastructure in Kazakhstan. The initiative reflects the countries’ shared commitment to strengthening bilateral ties.
Large-Scale Project Across Two Cities
The project will span Kazakhstan’s capital Astana and the city of Almaty. It includes the establishment of a world-class medical university designed to accommodate 10,000 students, alongside the development of a 1,000-bed multi-specialty hospital equipped with advanced medical facilities.

Reducing Medical Travel Abroad
This initiative aims to improve access to quality healthcare and education within Kazakhstan, helping reduce the need for citizens to seek medical treatment or higher studies abroad. The infrastructure will support both medical training and high-end patient care.
Strengthening Healthcare and Education Ties
By investing in Kazakhstan’s human development sectors, the project is expected to deepen India-Kazakhstan cooperation beyond traditional trade. It signals India’s growing global role in building educational and healthcare institutions abroad.
