The 2025 Tata Altroz facelift will officially launch in India. The premium hatchback has received a mid-cycle refresh, keeping its overall shape intact but introducing several design changes. The new model features redesigned all-LED headlamps with eyebrow-style daytime running lights, refreshed front and rear bumpers, and sleek, connected tail lamps replacing the previous bulky units. The radiator grille now has a more complex 3D pattern, and flush-type door handles, first seen on the Tata Curvv, have been added for a modern touch.
Interior and Features Enhancements
Inside, the Altroz facelift gets a more refined and mature dashboard design. It now sports a freestanding 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system paired with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Other upgrades include new seats, a single-pane sunroof, ambient lighting, and a 360-degree parking camera, enhancing convenience and comfort.
Engine Options and Performance
The facelifted Altroz is expected to continue with three engine options. The 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine produces 88 HP and 115 Nm torque, available with a 5-speed manual or 6-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). A CNG variant of the same engine is likely to deliver 73.5 HP and 103 Nm, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The 1.5-litre diesel engine producing 90 HP and 200 Nm torque may also remain, offered with a 5-speed manual transmission.Market Position and Competition
The 2025 Tata Altroz facelift will compete with rivals such as the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20, and Toyota Glanza. The refreshed design and feature set aim to strengthen its position in the premium hatchback segment upon launch. Pricing details will be revealed alongside the official launch.
