The UAE Government is advancing towards a fully paperless system, significantly enhancing convenience for residents. Whether you’re paying fines or renewing residency permits, the need to visit physical offices is rapidly diminishing. Instead, you can handle most transactions through official apps and websites, offering a seamless experience right from your mobile device.

Key Government Apps for UAE Residents

UAE Pass
The UAE Pass is a critical tool for accessing various government services. This digital identity allows you to log into multiple UAE government apps without needing separate registrations. Beyond login, it also facilitates digital document signing, simplifying interactions with official services.

UAE ICP App
Managed by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP), this app consolidates your residency and identity documents. You can access digital versions of your residence visa and Emirates ID, including those for dependents. The app also supports visa and ID renewals, as well as fine payments. iPhone users can add these documents to their Apple Wallet for added convenience.

Ministry of Interior (MoI) App
The MoI app offers a comprehensive suite of services related to police and civil defence across the UAE. It syncs records from your Emirates ID and vehicle licence, allowing for easy management of various administrative tasks such as reporting accidents, paying fines, and renewing vehicle registrations. Services are categorised into traffic, police, civil defence, and general.

Emirate-Specific Government Apps

Abu Dhabi: TAMM
Dubai: DubaiNow
Sharjah: Digital Sharjah
Ajman: AjmanOne
Umm Al Quwain: SmartUAQ
Ras Al Khaimah: mRak (available on App Store)
Fujairah: Digital Fujairah (available on App Store)

These apps are designed to streamline services within each emirate, covering tasks such as utility bill payments, vehicle registrations, visa renewals, and business-related services.

Public Transport Apps

Dubai:

  • RTA: Manage parking payments and Salik recharge.
  • Careem: Book taxis in the emirate.
  • S’hail: Plan bus journeys and check routes.

Abu Dhabi:

  • Darb: Manage road toll balances and recharges.
  • Abu Dhabi Link: Access bus-on-demand services.
  • Abu Dhabi Taxi: Book taxi rides.

Sharjah:

  • RTA Sharjah: Check bus schedules, book taxis, file complaints, and report lost items.

Ras Al Khaimah:

  • Sayr: Check bus schedules, purchase tickets, and book taxis.

These apps enhance daily life by providing essential services and information at your fingertips, aligning with the UAE’s vision of a modern, paperless government.
