Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated on Friday that Uttar Pradesh signed more than 18,000 memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with various industries and garnered investment proposals worth Rs 32.92 lakh crore during roadshows held before to the ongoing Global Investors Summit 2023. According to him, these might potentially result in 92.50 lakh new employment openings in the state.

Speaking at the summit’s opening ceremony, Adityanath declared that Uttar Pradesh was prepared to serve as the nation’s growth engine in accordance with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision and by emulating his motto of “Reform, Perform, Transform.”

The chief minister referred to the summit as a “Mahakumbh” of investment and stated that 18,645 memorandums of understanding (MoUs) will be signed by the government and businesses in a variety of industries, including renewable energy, real estate, education, tourism, the manufacture of electronic vehicles, housing, and food processing.

The chief minister of Uttar Pradesh invited investors to participate in the state’s development, saying that the state’s government, working under Prime Minister Modi, had improved law and order, implemented 25 sectoral policies, and created an atmosphere that was conducive to industrial growth.

Adityanath noted that the online incentive and customer relationship management portal (Nivesh Sarathi), as well as the Nivesh Sarathi portal, are proving “immensely useful” in facilitating investments. The Nivesh Sarathi portal is a system for signing Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) and monitoring their implementation for the convenience of investors.

He said that the single-window web site “Nivesh Mitra” offers 406 services from 33 departments. Investor assistance is being provided by “Udyami Mitra.”

A group of ministers from Uttar Pradesh led teams that planned roadshows for the GIS in nine cities throughout the nation and 21 cities in 16 different countries, which he also told the audience about.
