Kawasaki has unveiled a new 400cc race machine. Kawasaki is renowned for producing some of the best sports bikes. The entry-level Ninja 400 has been replaced by the new Ninja ZX-4R series from the Japanese manufacturer, which features an entirely different powertrain and underpinnings.
Prices for the ZX-4R in the US start at $9,699 (about Rs 7.95 lakh), and there are three different models to choose from: regular, SE, and RR. The purpose of the new ZX-4R line is to fill the space between the Ninja ZX-25R and Ninja ZX-6R.
The ZX-4R shares many design cues with its other sport bike siblings in the Ninja lineup, including a fully faired front end, twin LED headlights, a triangular LED taillight, a small windscreen with a smoked effect, a sculpted fuel tank, a low-set clip-on handlebar, a side-slung exhaust muffler, and a step-up split seat design.
In order to achieve optimal engine performance, the ram air intake system works to increase cylinder-filling effectiveness. A six-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch performs transmission responsibilities to enable seamless gear changes.
Although the Japanese bike maker hasn’t yet disclosed performance figures, it comes with a lengthy silencer pipe that emits a classic inline-four symphony giving it that complete sports bike feel.
