Telangana-based T-Hub has won the “Best Incubator in India” award at the National Startup Awards 2022. Union Minister for Commerce, Industry and Consumer Affairs Piyush Goyal distributed the award on National Startup Day. T-Hub emerged as the winner competing with 55 others. T-Hub was awarded for its contributions to the growth of the startup ecosystem in Telangana, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
According to Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary of the Industries & Commerce (I&C) and Information Technology (IT), T-Hub became a national leader in the field. He believes that the incubator can serve as a blueprint for other organisations and create a more vibrant and successful startup ecosystem in the country.
The incubator excelled in various aspects such as startup funding, sector focus, strong market connections, partnerships, and the overall impact on the entire startup ecosystem that has more than 2,500 startups. Since its inception, T-Hub has created more than 12,000 jobs. Its startups have raised about 1.9 billion dollars with more than 3,000 strong market connections. T-Hub will receive support for its business growth, mentorship, funding, partnerships, and market access opportunities.
