At the Shell Eco-Marathon (SEM) 2022 International Energy Efficiency Competition, an electric car created by engineering students at Government Engineering College Barton Hill in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, won an award and received an honourable mention. The Pertamina Mandalika circuit in Indonesia recently hosted it. Under the guidance of Acsia Technologies, Pravega, a group of 19 college students studying mechanical engineering, created the electric vehicle known as “Vandy,” which won the competition against many other entries from around the world.
An official release claims that on the occasion, “Vandy” received an Honorable Mention for the International Award for Technical Innovation and the “International Award for Safety” from Dupont.
