Coronavirus has brought everything to a standstill. It hasn’t differentiated between the rich and poor. “This is the time of uncertainty when no one has an idea what is in store,” says Anil Joshi, Managing Partner, Unicorn India Ventures.
Uncertainty brings the best out of individuals. It also provides an opportunity to come out with innovative ideas. “I believe, during this uncertain time, Indian startups will also benefit. While they’ve been facing quite a tough time not only from the perspective of loss of business, rising expenses, keeping team intact, the time also offers an opportunity to be innovative and see how they can make the best use of it, to come out with the solutions which will not only help them stay in business but will also provide solutions which can be used by the industry at large.”
Anil Joshi feels that the future would be bright, even though the short period or midterm would be tough. However, in the long term, this situation will bring the best out of all the Indian startups. The ones who survive would come out as the winner of the situation.
