Dixon Technologies has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to build a new manufacturing facility at Indospace Industrial Park in Oragadam, about 45 km from Chennai. The company will invest Rs. 1000 crore in this project.

Focus on Laptops and PCs
The new facility will manufacture laptops and all-in-one personal computers. It will also provide electronic manufacturing services to other companies. HP laptops will be the first to be produced at the plant.
Job Creation
The project is expected to generate over 5,000 jobs, according to Industries Minister T R B Rajaa.
Official Signing Event
The MoU was exchanged at the Secretariat in the presence of Chief Minister M K Stalin. Dixon’s Executive Chairman Sunil Vachani and Vice President Prithvi Vachani signed the agreement with Darez Ahamed, CEO of Tamil Nadu’s investment promotion agency Guidance.

Dixon Technologies manufactures electronic products for brands such as Samsung, Xiaomi, Motorola, OnePlus, Boat, Panasonic, and TCL Technologies.
