A Swiss watchmaker has teamed up with an Indian retailer to launch a Ram Janambhoomi limited edition watch priced at an astounding ₹34 lakh ($41,000). This luxury watch, produced in a limited run, marks the consecration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya earlier this year.

The exclusive timepiece is a collaborative effort between Ethos and Jacob & Co, incorporating the latter’s renowned Epic X Skeleton series. This watch is not just a timekeeper but a tribute to India’s rich cultural heritage.
Design and Features
The watch features the Ram Temple at 9 o’clock and the inscription “Jai Shree Ram” at 6 o’clock. Prominent depictions of Lord Rama and Lord Hanuman adorn both editions of the watch. It also comes with a saffron bracelet, a colour chosen for its deep symbolism related to spirituality, purity, and prayer in Hindutva.
Limited Availability
Only 49 of these limited edition watches have been produced, with 35 already sold. Each detail of the timepiece is meticulously crafted to embody significant cultural and spiritual values.
