MoS Jitendra Singh Urges Youth to Seize Startup Opportunities

India’s Minister of State (MoS) for Personnel, Jitendra Singh, has urged the country’s youth to seize the opportunities in the start-up sector instead of seeking government jobs. He said that the start-up sector offers a plethora of opportunities, and the youth should take advantage of them.

In a recent media interaction, Singh stated that the start-up sector is one of the most vibrant sectors in the country and offers tremendous scope for young entrepreneurs to generate employment. He added that the government has taken several initiatives to encourage start-ups and entrepreneurship in the country, such as Startup India, Digital India, and Atmanirbhar Bharat.

Singh said that young entrepreneurs should not only look at the start-up sector as a means of employment but also as an opportunity to make a difference in society. The Minister expressed his hope that the youth can bring significant changes in various fields, including healthcare, agriculture, and education, by creating innovative start-ups that can help address the country’s challenges.

The Minister stated that the government has taken several measures to create a conducive ecosystem for start-ups, such as easing regulations, providing tax benefits, and establishing the Startup India Seed Fund. He also encouraged the youth to take advantage of these initiatives and create innovative start-ups that can help transform the country’s economy.

Singh also highlighted that the start-up sector has a tremendous potential for job creation. He said that start-ups are expected to create around 12-15 million direct jobs in the next five years.

The Minister’s call to seize the opportunities in the start-up sector instead of government jobs is a timely reminder to the youth of the country to think beyond traditional employment and explore the immense potential of entrepreneurship.
