Agricultural food ecosystem has a lot of opportunities for Startups, starting with the input supply with the supply chain which nurtures agriculture like fertiliser, hydroponics, the input systems, as well as the intermediary system and the output system, which is the retail chain networks.

Agriculture is moving in the following line, where a lot of precision binds into the input system, so that the data controlling the input system will be an area of interest. Secondly, fertigation technologies and the onsite technologies would have a lot of opportunities to offer. The processing sector, which brings the products on a ready to consume platform to the retail sector will have a lot of opportunities in both data and hardware. Finally in the retail sector, the dispensary sector will have a lot of focus on health and hygiene of the products, and phyto security. These are core areas where we will focus. Then we have opportunities in genomic based selection of planting  material as well as produce also on financial products, fintech products like insurance as well as crop loss measures. 

Agriculture Startups are less than those you find in Fintech or for example IT. But the categorisation is very non-organic, it is very synthetic and lot of them have cross disciplinary
