Safe Seas develops a ‘Remote Operating Lifebuoy System’. The system can save people from drowning in the sea. The tool was tested at Alappuzha beach. It is the first time Kerala attempts a tool like this. The equipment can be controlled from the land using a remote. This can save people within 30 seconds. It can carry 200 kilos and save three people at a time. The device weighs just 12 kilos. Everyone can operate the device.
