Tata Starbucks has introduced its first special Onam menu in Kerala, giving traditional local flavours a modern twist. The menu is a joint initiative of Tata Consumer Products and Starbucks and features popular Kerala ingredients in new dishes and drinks.

The special Onam menu is available from August 16 to 26 at nine selected Starbucks stores across Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur and Kozhikode.
The menu uses familiar Kerala ingredients such as banana, jackfruit, avial, inji puli and jaggery.
Kerala Inspired Savoury Dishes
The menu includes three main savoury options.
The Avial Inji Puli Wrap combines seasonal vegetables with avial and a sweet and tangy inji puli sauce.
The Poricha Kozhi Wrap features Kerala-style fried chicken wrapped in porotta with fresh greens.
The Nadan Kozhi Puff is made with spiced Kerala-style chicken filling inside a pastry puff.
Traditional Flavours In Desserts
The Onam menu also includes desserts inspired by Kerala flavours.
The Nendrapazham Jaggery Coconut Strudel combines banana, ghee and jaggery inside pastry.
The Nendrapazham Jaggery Loaf Cake brings together ripe banana and jaggery in a soft cake.
The Jackfruit Swiss Roll features jackfruit cream inside a sponge cake.
Jackfruit Inspired Drinks
Two special drinks are also part of the menu.
The Jackfruit Flat White combines the natural sweetness of ripe jackfruit with the aroma of cinnamon.
The Jackfruit Cold Brew adds jackfruit flavour to Starbucks’ signature cold brew.
Celebrating Onam Through Food
Mitali Maheshwari, Head of Product and Marketing at Tata Starbucks, said the company’s first Onam menu is an attempt to celebrate the festival through food, desserts and beverages.
She said traditional flavours such as banana, jackfruit, avial and inji puli have been given a new presentation while keeping their connection to Kerala’s food culture.
The limited-edition menu is available for just 11 days, from August 16 to August 26.
