Ingka Centres has announced an IKEA-anchored mixed-use project in Gurugram. This will be IKEA’s first mall in india.

The firm will invest Rs 3,500 crore on the project. The construction of the mall will start in early 2022. The company expects the project to generate more than 2,500 jobs.
This may fuel further growth of organised retail in India, it said. Ingka Group owns IKEA Retail and Ingka Investments
Great expectations
The new “meeting place” will be developed under the Livat brand. It will be a mix of hospitality, F&B, and edutainment space
