The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has announced additional inter-state bus services to handle the expected increase in passenger traffic during the upcoming festival season.
The special services will operate from October 14 to November 14 between various cities in Kerala and Bengaluru, Mysuru and Chennai, as well as on the return routes.
Services for Mahanavami, Vijayadashami and Diwali
The additional buses have been introduced in view of the Mahanavami, Vijayadashami and Diwali festivals.
Some of the special services will operate on alternate days, depending on the route and passenger demand.
KSRTC said additional services will be arranged based on the expected rush and travel demand during the festival period.

Passengers can book tickets for the special services through the KSRTC website, the Ente KSRTC Neo OPRS mobile app, KSRTC WhatsApp ticketing at 9447071021, and KSRTC reservation counters.
The corporation has advised passengers to book their tickets early to avoid the festive rush and ensure smoother travel.
Mahanavami will be observed on October 19, Vijayadashami on October 20 and Diwali on November 8 this year.
