Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been named India’s most valuable celebrity brand, with an estimated brand value of $177.9 million, according to the latest Kroll Celebrity Brand Valuation Report. The ranking places SRK ahead of actor Ranveer Singh and cricketer Virat Kohli, reaffirming his unmatched commercial appeal nearly three decades into his career. The valuation reflects his influence across films, advertising, entrepreneurship, sports investments and global brand endorsements.
The report values Ranveer Singh’s brand at $162.9 million, placing him second, while Virat Kohli, who topped last year’s rankings, moved to third with a valuation of $158.4 million. Among women, Alia Bhatt emerged as India’s most valuable female celebrity brand, followed by Deepika Padukone, reflecting the growing commercial strength of female stars across cinema, fashion and lifestyle sectors.

Kroll noted that celebrity brand value today extends far beyond box office collections or sporting achievements. Factors such as consumer trust, digital influence, social media engagement, endorsement portfolios, entrepreneurial ventures and long-term brand recall play a crucial role in determining a celebrity’s commercial worth. Shah Rukh Khan’s continued dominance is attributed to his ability to remain relevant across generations while successfully balancing entertainment, business and international visibility.
The report also estimates that the combined brand value of India’s top 25 celebrities has reached $2 billion, underlining the rapid expansion of India’s celebrity endorsement market. Legacy icons continue to command premium endorsement fees, while younger stars are increasingly leveraging digital platforms and personal brands to expand their commercial footprint. The findings highlight how celebrities have evolved into influential business assets, driving consumer engagement across industries ranging from FMCG and technology to finance, fashion and luxury.
