Air India has launched EasyRoam, an international travel SIM service developed in partnership with Tata Communications to help passengers stay connected while travelling abroad. The service is available as an eSIM and is planned to offer physical SIM cards as well.

EasyRoam enables travellers to access voice and data services overseas without having to arrange a local SIM after reaching their destination. The service is currently available through a dedicated Air India-branded webpage.
During the introductory phase, the SIM is available free of cost, although customers must pay for their selected international roaming plan. Packages start at ₹241, excluding taxes, with prices varying according to the destination and plan.
EasyRoam initially covers 30 countries across North America, Europe, including the UK, Australia, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. Air India plans to progressively expand coverage to as many as 190 countries.
Customers can choose between data-only and voice-plus-data plans, depending on their travel requirements. Eligible customers purchasing data plans can also receive up to 1GB of additional complimentary data, except in the Maldives and Mauritius.
The service is part of Air India’s efforts to improve the international travel experience through digital services and partnerships. EasyRoam is currently available on the airline’s website, with plans to introduce it through its mobile app at a later stage.
