The R|Elan™ Circular Design Challenge (RCDC), organised by Reliance Industries’ R|Elan™, the United Nations in India and Lakmé Fashion Week, has announced its India finalists after completing the global jury rounds. Selected from a highly competitive field are Botto Labs by Nitya Amarnath, Saloni Jhaveri, Duja by Ustat Kharbanda, and Margn by Saurabh Maurya, all recognised for their innovative approaches to circular fashion and textile sustainability.
The eighth edition attracted over 220 global applications, with 23 semi-finalists shortlisted across India, Europe, the United Kingdom, and the Asia Pacific region. The seven global finalists will now advance to the Grand Jury at the United Nations House in New Delhi before showcasing their collections at Lakmé Fashion Week x FDCI in October, as part of the India–France Year of Innovation 2026.
The challenge aims to accelerate sustainable innovation by supporting entrepreneurs developing circular business models for the fashion industry. Through mentorship, global exposure and industry partnerships, RCDC continues to promote solutions that reduce textile waste and advance circularity while strengthening India’s position as a global hub for sustainable fashion innovation.
