Kerala IT Minister P.K. Kunhalikutty visited Technopark in Thiruvananthapuram and held detailed discussions with senior officials to review the state’s technology sector and future development plans.

During his first visit to the IT hub after taking charge of the IT, Startup and Industries portfolio in the new government, the Minister assessed ongoing projects and explored new growth opportunities for Kerala’s tech ecosystem.
He was welcomed by senior officials including Seeram Sambasiva Rao, Special Secretary, Department of Electronics and IT, and Sandip Kumar IAS, CEO of Technopark. Officials presented a detailed briefing on the state’s IT sector, covering achievements, challenges, innovation efforts, startup growth and future plans aimed at strengthening Kerala’s position in the technology industry.
The Minister also interacted with representatives from various IT parks and institutions, seeking suggestions and proposals to boost development across the sector.
Key officials present included leaders from Infopark Kochi, Cyberpark Kozhikode, Kerala Startup Mission, Digital University Kerala, KSITIL, K-FON, IIITM-K, Maker Village, ICFOSS, C-DIT and KSPACE, along with senior government IT strategists.
