Vedaanta Senior Living, a key player in India’s senior housing segment, has introduced its latest senior living project, Eden Gardens, located in Ettumanoor, Kottayam. The development spans 4 acres and will include 48 premium villas along with around 30 apartments, with starting prices from ₹76 lakh.

This launch is part of the company’s broader ₹200 crore investment plan in Kerala over the next three years, aimed at building community-focused senior living spaces. The Eden Gardens project alone accounts for an investment of ₹50 crore.
With existing projects in Guruvayur and Kochi, and another upcoming community in Thrissur, the addition of Kottayam further expands Vedaanta’s footprint in Kerala, strengthening its position as one of the few senior living operators with a multi-city presence in the state.
Kerala continues to be a strong market for senior living, supported by its ageing population, high life expectancy, and significant NRI-linked income base. With more than 16% of residents aged 60 and above, well above the national average, demand for structured senior living communities is rising steadily as families look for safe, supportive, and independent living options for seniors.
Shreya Anand, Director at Vedaanta Senior Living, said Kerala is an advanced market for senior living, where older adults are increasingly seeking communities that offer independence, dignity, and quality of life. She added that Eden Gardens reflects the company’s wellness-driven, community-first approach and reinforces its ₹200 crore commitment to building trusted senior living ecosystems across the state.
