The list recognizes 40 individuals worldwide who reached billionaire status at a young age. Among them, Nikhil Kamath, co-founder of Bengaluru-based Zerodha, is the only entrepreneur from India.

Ankur Jain: U.S.-Based Tech Visionary

New York-based Ankur Jain ranked 19th, with a net worth of $3.4 billion. He is the founder and CEO of Bilt Rewards, a home rental rewards platform valued at $10.8 billion by private investors.

Prior to Bilt, Jain co-founded Humin, a contact management app acquired by Tinder in 2016. A Wharton School graduate, he is the son of a former dot-com billionaire and is regarded as one of the most influential young founders in the U.S. tech sector.

Nikhil Kamath: India’s Only Representative

Nikhil Kamath ranked 20th with a net worth of $3.3 billion. He co-founded Zerodha, a brokerage firm in Bengaluru, in 2010 alongside his brother Nithin Kamath, who currently serves as CEO. Nikhil is Zerodha’s CFO and has been instrumental in building the company into one of India’s leading brokerage firms.

The Kamath brothers were also featured on Forbes’ 2023 billionaires list, with Zerodha previously valued at around $8 billion. In 2024, Nikhil launched a podcast called “WTF is”, further raising his public profile.

Adarsh Hiremath and Surya Midha: Young AI Entrepreneurs

Both 22 years old, Adarsh Hiremath and Surya Midha jointly ranked 27th. They co-founded Mercor, an AI-based recruiting startup, along with Brendan Foody. Each has an estimated net worth of ₹1,826 crore, making them among the youngest billionaires on the list.

Founded in 2023, Mercor helps leading AI labs in Silicon Valley train models at scale. Hiremath grew up in the Bay Area and holds a combined bachelor’s and master’s degree in computer science. Midha was born in Mountain View, raised in San Jose, and earned a bachelor’s degree in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.

Rising Influence of Young Entrepreneurs

These four entrepreneurs highlight the growing influence of young, tech-savvy founders from India and Indian-origin communities worldwide. Their achievements demonstrate how innovation and technology continue to create new pathways to wealth and global recognition at an early age.
