Singer Palak Muchhal, born in Indore and celebrated for her soulful voice, has earned a place in the Guinness World Records and the Limca Book of Records not just for her music but for her extraordinary humanitarian efforts. Through the Palak Palash Charitable Foundation, she has helped fund over 3,800 heart surgeries for underprivileged children across India and beyond, turning her passion for singing into a lifelong mission of compassion.

Palak’s journey of giving began in childhood when she encountered underprivileged children on a train. That experience inspired a promise she made to herself to help them someday. Today, that promise drives her foundation, which channels earnings from every concert and personal savings toward life saving medical care.
Her philanthropy extends beyond healthcare. She has supported families of Kargil martyrs and donated Rs 10 lakh toward relief efforts following the Gujarat earthquake. Her work reflects deep empathy and a commitment to consistent action.
Even as her musical career flourished with hits like Meri Aashiqui, Kaun Tujhe, and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Palak continued dedicating time and resources to her foundation. Her inclusion in the Limca Book of Records underscores her enduring commitment to humanitarian work alongside professional success.
Her husband, composer Mithoon, has been a steadfast partner in this mission, famously saying, Even if there is no show, no income a child’s surgery will never stop. Their shared determination ensures that their philanthropic work remains unwavering regardless of financial or logistical challenges.
