The Indian Racing Festival concluded its two-day event at the Buddh International Circuit (BIC) in Greater Noida on November 1, with Aryan Narola and Ruhaan Alva emerging as the standout performers. Narola of Goa Aces JA Racing won both Sunday races in the F4 Indian Championship, while Alva of Kichcha’s Kings Bengaluru secured victory in the second Indian Racing League (IRL) race.

The October 31–November 1 weekend featured Round 4 of the F4 Indian Championship and Round 2 of the Indian Racing League. It also marked the return of FIA-level single-seater racing to BIC after a 13-year gap.
Aryan Narola Dominates F4 Championship Races
Narola delivered a strong performance on Sunday, winning both F4 races to complete a double victory. In the first race, Swarnav Das initially led the field before Narola overtook him on the second lap. Narola maintained his advantage to take the chequered flag.
Aris Kyriakou finished second, while Ntiyiso Mabunda of Speed Demons Delhi secured third place. In the second race, Narola led from the start and held off challenges from Arjun Chheda and Mabunda to secure his second consecutive win. Chheda finished second, followed by Mabunda in third.
Saturday’s opening F4 race had been won by Mabunda after a close contest with fellow South African Luviwe Sambudla of Goa Aces JA Racing.
Ruhaan Alva Wins Second IRL Race
The second Indian Racing League race of the weekend produced a closely contested finish, with Alva taking the victory for Kichcha’s Kings Bengaluru.
Shane Chanderia initially moved ahead of Alva and led for several laps. However, mechanical trouble forced Chanderia out of the race, allowing Alva to take the lead and secure the win.
Mohamed Ryan of Hyderabad Blackbirds finished second, while Malaysian driver Alister Yoong of Speed Demons Delhi took third place.
The opening IRL race on Saturday was won by British driver Raoul Hyman of Goa Aces JA Racing. Sai Shiva Sankaran of Kolkata Royal Tigers finished second, while Jemma Moore of Kichcha’s Kings Bengaluru secured third.
FIA-Level Racing Returns to Buddh International Circuit
The Indian Racing Festival’s BIC leg brought international-level single-seater competition back to the circuit for the first time in 13 years. The venue last hosted a Formula 1 Indian Grand Prix in 2013 and later staged the inaugural MotoGP Bharat in 2023.
The festival features two major competitions: the franchise-based Indian Racing League and the F4 Indian Championship. The IRL brings together city-based teams and international and Indian drivers, while the F4 championship provides a competitive pathway for young racers progressing towards higher levels of single-seater motorsport.
The weekend’s results highlighted the growing competitive depth of Indian motorsport and offered emerging drivers an opportunity to race at one of the country’s most recognised international circuits.
