Deepinder Goyal’s Temple Wearable Gets ₹85,000 Price Indication
Temple, the brain-monitoring wearable developed by Zomato co-founder Deepinder Goyal, is moving closer to its first commercial release. Early-access invitations reportedly list the device at ₹85,000, including a lifetime subscription.

The price indication comes ahead of the opening of pre-orders for Temple Batch 01 on November 1, 2026. Selected users have received invitations to order the device through the Temple app before the wider pre-order window begins.
However, the ₹85,000 price has not been officially confirmed by the company. The number of units planned for the first batch also remains undisclosed.
What Does Temple Do?
Unlike conventional smartwatches that primarily track steps, heart rate and sleep, Temple is designed to monitor changes in cerebral blood flow, or the movement of blood through the brain.
The device uses optical sensors to measure physiological signals associated with brain blood flow. The company refers to this measurement technology as BrainFlow.
Temple also generates an Entropy score ranging from 1 to 250 to indicate physiological strain. Factors such as sleep, exercise, stress and caffeine consumption may influence the score.
The wearable sits on the side of the head, between the forehead and ear, and attaches to the skin using single-use adhesive strips called Grips. It is intended for wellness and research purposes rather than medical diagnosis.
Six Colours and Limited First-Batch Availability
Temple is expected to be available in six colours: True Gold, Rose Gold, Black Mirror, Real Jade, Deep Blue and Purple Funk. Real Jade, Deep Blue and Purple Funk have been described as limited-edition options.
Each device will be handmade to order, with deliveries expected within three months of purchase, according to reports. This means customers ordering during the November pre-order window could receive their devices in early 2027.
The company is following a limited-batch approach, with early access offered to selected users through its app.
Can Temple Compete in the Premium Wearables Market?
At a reported price of ₹85,000, Temple enters the premium wearable segment with a focus on brain-related physiological signals rather than conventional fitness tracking.
Its appeal will depend on how effectively the device converts complex measurements into useful insights for everyday users, athletes and researchers. The accuracy, practical value and independent validation of its measurements will be important considerations for potential buyers.
While the reported pricing and pre-order date offer a clearer picture of its launch plans, the final retail price and full commercial details remain subject to official confirmation.
