Mumbai’s luxury real estate market has recorded a landmark residential property transaction, with Angel One founder Dinesh Thakkar reportedly acquiring an eight-storey tower at Embassy Terraz in Juhu for around ₹711 crore. The 63,000-square-foot property is valued at approximately ₹1.13 lakh per square foot.
The ultra-luxury project is being developed by Embassy Developments on Juhu Tara Road, a prime Mumbai location known for high-profile residents. Thakkar is reportedly planning to use the property as his family residence and has named it ‘Angelus’.
Spread across more than 2.5 acres, Embassy Terraz comprises around 50 luxury residences across five towers. Each floor features a single apartment, offering greater privacy, spacious layouts and Arabian Sea views.
The transaction also drew market attention, with Embassy Developments’ share price reportedly rising by more than 8% after news of the deal emerged.
Dinesh Thakkar is the founder, Chairman and Managing Director of Angel One. He entered the stock market as an investor and later founded Angel Broking in 1996. The company transitioned into a fully digital investment platform in 2019 and was renamed Angel One in 2021.
