Young entrepreneur Aditya Kiran is drawing attention with his homegrown footwear brand Solematics at Onam celebrations in the capital. The BTech student from Kazhakkoottam launched the brand with the aim of bringing the popular sneakers culture seen abroad to Indian consumers at affordable prices.

Solematics is the result of nearly two years of research, development and hard work by Aditya. Launched in June, the brand focuses on lightweight footwear designed for both casual and formal use.
The brand features a distinctive wolf as its logo and currently offers shoes in five different colours. Solematics products are sold through online platforms, with Aditya planning to expand the venture and establish it as a leading homegrown footwear brand from Kerala.
The name Solematics also has a personal connection to its founder. It combines sole, the main part of a shoe, with matics, a reference to his BTech field of study.
With its focus on lightweight design, affordability and everyday versatility, Solematics marks Aditya Kiran’s effort to build a distinctive footwear brand from Kerala for the Indian market.
