Tamil Nadu has attracted ₹1,02,514 crore in investment commitments within the first 100 days of the TVK-led state government taking charge, according to a government statement reported by Moneycontrol. The investments are expected to generate 1,21,788 jobs.
At the Vetri Tamil Nadu Investors’ Conclave, 97 MoUs involving ₹67,452 crore were signed, with 1.07 lakh jobs expected.

Several major projects were announced. YKK has proposed ₹1,651 crore for a manufacturing facility in Tiruvallur, while Daimler plans to invest ₹4,000 crore to expand its commercial vehicle design, R&D and manufacturing operations. JK Tyre will invest ₹5,143 crore in expanding its Kancheepuram project.
The aerospace sector is also gaining momentum. Skyroot Aerospace plans a ₹250 crore private launch vehicle manufacturing facility in Thoothukudi, while Agnikul Cosmos plans to invest ₹400 crore in a reusable launch vehicle manufacturing and integration facility.
The MoUs cover aerospace and defence, automobiles, electronics, semiconductors, deep technology, maritime industries, consumer electronics and renewable energy, with projects spread across several districts of the state.
