India and Nepal are deepening their development cooperation through a series of agreements focused on key sectors including education, health and agriculture.

The partnership reflects the two neighbouring countries’ continued focus on grassroots development and improving access to essential infrastructure and services.
India has supported hundreds of High Impact Community Development Projects across Nepal, covering areas such as education, healthcare, drinking water, connectivity, sanitation and public utilities.
The two countries have also expanded cooperation in agriculture, with efforts aimed at improving crop productivity, post-harvest management, agri-marketing, climate resilience and sustainable farming practices.
The latest cooperation underscores the long-standing development partnership between India and Nepal and their shared focus on improving livelihoods and strengthening infrastructure across Nepal.
