The Kerala government has announced plans to modernise its network of Maveli Stores and launch 24×7 convenience outlets as part of a broader effort to revamp the state’s public retail system. The initiative aims to make essential commodities more accessible while improving shopping convenience for consumers.

The upgraded outlets will feature modern layouts, better inventory management, digital payment facilities and an expanded range of daily essentials. The government also plans to introduce round-the-clock convenience stores at select locations to cater to changing consumer lifestyles and urban demand.
The move is expected to strengthen the role of Supplyco in Kerala’s retail sector, enhance operational efficiency and ensure the continued availability of quality products at affordable prices. The initiative is part of the state’s broader strategy to modernise public-sector retail while maintaining price stability and consumer welfare.
